The book has a hardcover.  The cover is in average condition because of moderate wear and light soiling. There is a five inch tear in the front cover.  The bottom half inch of the spine cover is missing. The lower right corner of the front cover  is damaged.
The  spine cover is tight and the binding is good.   The pages are good but have yellowed slightly
. There is light soiling to the title page.   The is light soiling to the last page (blank).  There is light wear to the lower right corner of the last 80 pages.   There are many black and white illustrations.
