, published by Motor Racing Publications, spiral-bound (plastic? comb) soft cover with pictorial cover, 48 pages of text plus 16 pages of photograph plates, very well illustrated in b&w, 11 1/4" x 9".
Covers competition of BENTLEY cars at Le Mans from 1924 to 1930 etc.
The book has no names or inscriptions and the original spiral binding has a single radial crack in the centre and five of the individual fingers are cracked/missing but it remains entirely functional. The covers show wear and some edges have been very slightly trimmed so are now marginally undersized but they remain very presentable. Internally there is NO FOXING or other stains however
very close inspection and examination will reveal faint evidence that several pages of the book were once used by a young child with a pencil as a scribble pad!
The only evidence remaining is where there were pressure marks left from the lead pencil (resulting in a single 4" closed tear on an inner margin) and a single 1 1/2" edge tear to a page edge. The worst damage is included in the images provided.
A compromise (but still very presentable!) example of this rare and very desirable WO Bentley title!
