    Description

    A set 10 "Pennsylvania" drawings, blank greeting or note cards designed by Robert ( Bob) Morrow (1925-2015). There are different designs. Robert was a South Central Pennsylvania Artist well known in the area for his work. These are new old stock, from bulk boxes as shown in the last photo. They did not have original packaging, he would put the packets together on request. The cards measure 5 1/2" x 4 1/8" and are blank inside. Comes from a smoke free environment. Cards vary in shade from bright white to off white.
    Drawings included are: dated 1976-1994 Martin's Mill Bridge, The Grist Mill, Welty's Mill, Middour's dam, Brown's Mill School, Rocky Spring Church, Blacksmith shop at Middour's dam, Zullinger Blacksmith Shop, Franklin County Court House, Franklin County Jail.
    Born in 1925, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late John B. Morrow and Thelma G. (Cook) Morrow Izer.Bob graduated from Waynesboro Senior High School in 1943 and later from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He was a graduate of Famous Artist's School of Illustration, and also graduated with an engineering drafting degree from Penn State University.Previously employed as an Artist and Photographer at Landis Tool Co., Waynesboro; he owned and operated the Robert Morrow Studio in Wayne Heights, Waynesboro, along with his wife, Connie; set up and operated the Photographic Department at Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, PA. He retired from Grove to devote full time to drawing and oil painting.Bob received many awards throughout the years both in photography and art, including Best of Show in both categories. His paintings, prints and photographs are in public and private collections not only in the United States, but worldwide as well. He has exhibited at Washington County Museum, Hagerstown, MD; Renfrew Museum, Waynesboro; A Little Gallery in Mont Alto; Lord Nelson's Gallery, Gettysburg, PA; Bald Eagle Art Club, Williamsport, PA, and exhibited in several One-Man Shows.
