    This is an original poster issued by the United States Government in 1943 to inspire Americans to invest in war bonds in support of their armed forces fighting Germany, Italy and Japan in World War II. "United States Government Printing Office: 1943 — O — 502782 / WSS 715" is printed in the bottom margin. The painting was created by artist Robert Sloan, and his signature is seen in the image at lower right. The colors are rich and vibrant.
    The poster was once folded and has three horizontal and three vertical creases; this poster has been stored flat for years and is in excellent condition: VERY FINE condition.
