    Description

In this listing we have really neat doll head. This doll head was released by Barbie Collector as part of the original Wonder Woman line. This doll head is designed to look like Chris Pine as Steve Trevor from the first Wonder Woman movie. Based on the face paint, this head was made for the Paradise Island doll set.  This doll head is designed in the likeness of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor and they did a great job capturing this handsome man! He has a medium tan skin tone, light blue eyes, and pink lips. What makes this doll so interesting is that he was never given hair, he was never rooted at the factory. So, there’s no rooting holes in the head! This doll would be great for a custom, and since he's never been rooted, you can do pretty much any style you want to! This doll is free from glue head. My pictures came out a little light. The doll head is a few shades darker in person.
This doll head is in great condition and has never been played with. However, there are some factory issues. There is some sloppy paint application to the doll’s scalp. This is mostly around the edges of the paint. The edges aren’t as crisp as they could be. There are some spots where the paint stops short of the rest of the painted scalp. There are also some small chips of paint here and there. On the back of the guideline for the part, there is brown dot on the painted scalp. The scalp paint isn’t terrible, just not perfect. The doll’s face paint looks good. He looks to have some chipped or missing paint to the start of his left eyebrow at the top. His left eyebrow is lighter compared to the right eyebrow. The doll’s eyes look good. On the left side of his left of eye at the bottom there’s a small dot of excess blue paint from the iris that bled into the paint for the whites of the eyes. Both eyes have some thins spots for the whites of the eyes. The doll’s lips look good and so does his painted stubble. They didn’t do a great job trimming off the excess vinyl around his neck rim. There’s some excess vinyl around his neck in several spots. Also, around his jaw on the inside they went a little deep, however, this wouldn’t be visible when the doll head is on a body. At the back of the doll’s head he does have some areas where the vinyl has a shinier finish compared to the rest of the head having a matte finish. On the back of the head to the right side on the legal info at the back of the neck there’s a large spot that is indented. It looks like they didn’t fill the mold fully at the factory. It’s not super obvious, but the vinyl is thinner there so I would be careful with it in case it’s a weak spot. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll head, but please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
This listing is for the doll head alone, the stand shown is not included.
