    Description

    Kodak 4X5 Glass Plate Film Holder For Vintage Cameras
    Rare film holder, made by Eastman Kodak successor to Rochester Camera Company. This holder was made to use with glass plates. The external dimensions are different than modern holders, and will not fit in modern cameras. This holder was probably made between 1903-1907. Marked inside with Kodak/Rochester logo.
    TECHNICAL NOTES: Size of the holder, total length 169mm, width 127mm. In contrast a modern Graphic film holder is 182mm long and 121mm in width. It does not fit in a standard Graphic 4x5 film back.
    CONDITION: In good working condition. Made of wood and composite cardboard materials. The divider inside is bowed, but will allow the plates to lie flat.
