Awesome Caramel Slag Glass Dove In The Rushes Whimsy Candy Bowl Guernsey Mosser

This is a stunning Caramel Slag Glass whimsy bowl with a bird figure as part of the pedestal.
The glass is a combination of caramel brown and pure white milk glass... narrow rivers of the white run through and down the trunk. Where the two colors blend the glass is varying shades of creamy cocoa.
The lovely pattern is called Dove. It has a double pedestal - one is a log or branch and the other is a bird. The detail work is exceptional with long blades of grass coming up the sides of the bowl and tiny feathers on the bird. There is even grass under the bird on the wide foot!
The shape was made by hand as the glass cooled.
An excellent example of hand made pressed glass.
Stands appx 5-3/4" at the tallest and is 5-1/2" across the widest. The actual bowl is just 3-1/2" deep. Makes a great candy and nut dish.
In mint condition.
Made for Harold Bennett Guernsey Glass and there is the Guernsey "B" mark somewhere on the log stump. (I have yet to find it!)
Made in the 1990s by Mosser Glass of Cambridge Ohio.
