Antique HARTFORD STERLING CO. 5 Piece Tea Service #3004 "Made in England"

Description

This antique 5 piece tea service from Hartford Sterling Co. has been family-owned.  It was purchased from an antique dealer in the mid 1960s.  It is NOT sterling, as there are NO markings.  I have indicated 'silver plate' as the 'composition'.  The bottom of
each piece
is marked as you see in photo #8.
Includes: coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, sugar and waste bowl.
Each piece is engraved with the letter "P".
Has only been a display item; never used by my family.
From my research, I found that this company was located in Philadelphia...so the "Made in England" stamp on each piece is confusing to me!
Measurements~~
Coffee pot--about 9" to the top of lid.  Tea pot--about 7".  Waste bowl--3 1/2" at the sides.  Sugar bowl--5 1/2" to top of lid.  Creamer--3 1/2" at the lip.
This set has seen use; there are scratches, a few dings and some wear on the silver plate.  No hinge pin for the tea pot.  I have polished each piece, but could use a little more elbow grease.
