    Description

A compendium by R. M. Clarke of road tests from, among others, "Motor", "Autocar" and "Practical Motorist". Covers from the Tourist Trophy straight Eight supercharged front wheel drive, based on the 1929 Ulster T.T. car, to the Twelve-Four Alvis of 1940. Much of this very early Alvis information is hard to come by elsewhere. The author apologized for the poor reproduction quality of some of the articles, as they were old and yellowed when photographed for the book.
Please ask any question you wish. I always try to respond promptly. This is from a large automotive collection being slowly listed, some of which is quite rare. Thanks for looking.
