Akro Agate Vogue Merch. Co. Small Novelty Slag Glass Urn / Vase Blue & White
This particular item was a novelty make for Vogue Mercantile Co in New York City - and is marked with their name. It also says Made in the USA. When I look closely at it, it looks like a crack runs all the way around it. I THINK this is a heat check, as it does not pass all the way though the glass. It could also have something to do with the way the glass is placed in the mold, as the blue happens to just STOP when it hits the line. I don't think it is a repair. The two photos with my hands in them show it in two different spots. See how it just stops? I did find some others on the internet, and some of them look like they do thte same thing.  It looks like it might be a result of the
manufacturing process.
At any rate, please look the photos over closely so that you know what you are getting!

I do not oil my glass. I try to use white light or daylight for all photos. Photos that have been altered in any way other than brightness, contrast, or cropping will be also be disclosed.
