    , 312 pages, well illustrated in b&w, weighs 770g unpacked.
    The classic account of the first 40 years or so of motor racing by Sammy Davis who was a motoring journalist and competitor. There is detailed coverage of racing in the 1920s.

    "Appenfix B" lists the first, second and third winning car and info for the Grand Prix , Brooklands, Le Mans, Tourist Trophy, Eireann Cup etc for 1921-1931.
    There is an inscription inside the cover and is in
    poor condition
    due to evidence of damage causing a missing corner of the front cover and also affecting the first few pages but is otherwise excellent.
