    Description

    This is an antique, rare 1921 silver plate-loving cup trophy given to the Chicago Reds basketball team as champions of the Inter-City League.  The trophy stands 9 1/4" tall by 7" wide and is in good condition with some dents from years of being handled.  The front reads, "Jack Shannon Trophy Presented To 125 PD Basketball Champions Inter City League 1921 Won By Chicago Reds Welles Park".  The trophy is marked on the bottom, "Barbour Silver Co. Silver Quadruple 2057".  I have not used any silver polish on the item and will leave that up to the winning bidder.
